WHY YOU SHOULD learn to scuba dive with us here in El Paso, I’m the owner of Aquatic Adventures. Let me tell you a little about me. I opened this company, and I love scuba diving. I learned to dive in 1999 in Georgia, but found out my certification wasn't real, yep, the dive shop just took my money, trained me, and printed a card. So, I had to get RE-Certified in Colorado.
I have scuba dove all over the world, before a dive shop looked into my certification and found out it was locally printed and not registered properly. I have seen others have the same thing happen to them. I have also seen people think they have one certification, and they don't. Or they have been trained in something advance without getting the necessary prerequisites.
That won't happen here!
I have worked with a few dive shops, and independent instructors. Some are good, some are bad, very bad. Simple answer, I promised myself I would be better and do better. I will train you to the best of my ability as long as you work at the best of yours.
Everyone needs to understand, Diving is fun, great fun. It is also Dangerous! Working with me and my crew, will mitigate your risk. We will not give you the minimum, but you may not always get certified in the time you want. But the time you need! Everyone learns at a different speed and are comfortable with different things. If you give us your time, we will give you ours.

Three Things that They do (and we never will!)
You think you’ve signed up to learn something, but they’re teaching classes to get you to walk into their shop. We do not require you to buy ANY gear from us to start your training, with a few specialized exceptions for ADVANCED courses. We don't have any hidden fees or rentals charges. The course fee includes everything, and we will give you a detailed breakdown of those charges. So, if you decide while learning it's not for you, you don't have SCUBA masks, snorkels and fins just sitting in your closet. Most Scuba shops just look at you as a paycheck. It's their job to talk you into buying gear, instead of training.
Once you train with us, you will know what gear you WANT to buy, not what a SCUBA shop tells you to buy. We give advice, and we will help you find the right gear, even if we do not sell it ourselves!
Since I started my business, I have had one purpose, to be honest, and to tell people they have no obligation to buy from me. People buy from me, because I put them in the right equipment, generally after training. It may or may not be more expensive equipment. But it will be the right equipment, for the type of diving you will be doing, and will last for years!

Training
Our Shop has a classroom, when the classroom isn't in use it is a hang out area where people can watch TV, play Video Games, or watch many of our educational or travel DVD's. Drop your kids off there while you look around or talk to our staff. We also have a comfortable restroom/changing room that is always clean. Come enjoy our pool. Sorry, no alcohol sold, LOL. But we do have a sitting area with dozens of travel books and can order you just about any gear you want while you relax with us!
