"mama" Kassandra RobisonOwner & DivemasterKass began her scuba diving journey in 2022 and quickly developed a strong appreciation for the discipline, focus, and personal growth that diving provides. Through her involvement in the dive community, she has supported and embraced the training-driven, safety-focused culture that defines Aquatic Adventures LLC. Kassandra brings a grounded, supportive presence to the organization, valuing teamwork, learning, and shared experiences both in and out of the water. Her path into diving reflects a commitment to growth, curiosity, and stepping confidently into new challenges.

Michael "hammer" Robisonowner & COurse Director Instructor TrainerMichael is the owner of Aquatic Adventures LLC, a full-spectrum scuba dive shop and training school in El Paso, Texas. He learned to dive in 1999 and went on to gain extensive experience diving around the world, which shaped his belief in rigorous, honest, and personalized scuba training. Michael is certified as an SDI and TDI Instructor Trainer, FRTI Instructor Trainer, and PADI Instructor, and he also serves as a swim coach and certified service technician. Under his leadership, Aquatic Adventures emphasizes no-nonsense training—ensuring students receive thorough instruction, individualized attention, and the skills they need, not just minimum certifications. Michael’s approach is rooted in safety, integrity, and a genuine passion for helping divers grow, whether they’re beginners or advancing to technical levels. As a veteran-focused business, Aquatic Adventures also partners with programs like Dive4Vets to support certified training opportunities for service members and first responders.

"Wild" Bill TydemanInstructor TrainerBill has been diving since 2000 and is a technical and recreational instructor trainer known for a calm, student-centered teaching style. He emphasizes real learning by allowing divers to identify and correct their own mistakes underwater, building strong problem-solving skills under pressure. His instruction goes well beyond minimum standards, with a focus on solid buoyancy, trim, and practical execution. Although not a GUE instructor, Bill has successfully coached multiple students who later earned technical passes in Fundamentals. In 2024, Bill officially affiliated with Michael of Aquatic Adventures LLC, aligning their shared commitment to high-level training and real-world readiness. When not teaching, Bill is usually diving somewhere warm with multiple tanks and a plan to push limits safely.

Steve StricklandInstructor TrainerSteve Strickland is the owner and operator of Scuba Training Center is a longtime Amarillo native and a SDI Instructor Trainer. Steve has been committed to sharing the adventure of the blue world through high-quality scuba education. In 2024, Steve formed a professional friendship with Michael through collaborative training and professional development with Aquatic Adventures LLC. What began as collaboration quickly grew into a strong working partnership. Today, Steve and Michael work together to deliver consistent, professional-level scuba training across the Midwest. Together, they continue the Scuba Training Center tradition of excellence, safety, and outstanding diver experiences.

Kary L. McNeil iiiCOurse Director Instructor TrainerGunnery Sergeant Kary McNeal, USMC (Ret.), served more than 16 years, including multiple combat tours. His time in uniform shaped a lifelong commitment to leadership, accountability, and caring for fellow service members during and after transition. Kary discovered scuba diving in the Marine Corps—a discipline grounded in training, control, and trust—and found the underwater environment uniquely calming. What began as a skill evolved into a powerful tool for mental reset, intentional breathing, and restoring focus and balance. In 2024, this mission expanded through an official collaboration with Michael of Aquatic Adventures LLC, aligning shared values of discipline, service, and recovery. Together, they work to use scuba diving as a purposeful tool to support resilience, wellness, and continued growth beyond military service.

JOrge FloresInstructor Trainer EvaluatorJorge Flores is a retired U.S. Army veteran and President of Delta Sea Divers, with more than two decades of experience in scuba diving since 1998. He holds top-level certifications including Instructor Trainer, Course Director, rEVO Rebreather Instructor, and Technical Diving Instructor through SDI/TDI, along with a Master’s Degree in Exploration Science from the University of Miami. Jorge and Mike met through professional technical-diving circles, where a shared commitment to high standards and exploration-focused training quickly stood out. That mutual respect led to a decision to work together, combining Jorge’s exploration and academic expertise with Mike’s training and program-development focus. Today, their collaboration supports challenging, high-quality dive education while continuing to mentor divers at all levels.

He and Michael Robison previously worked together while assigned to 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), where trust, precision, and accountability were non-negotiable. That shared experience built a strong professional bond rooted in clear communication and high standards. Their continued collaboration in the dive community carries forward the same values developed during their military service. Together, they emphasize purposeful training, operational awareness, and consistent execution both in and out of the water.

In 2025, Jared formed a professional friendship with Michael Robison, which led to an official affiliation built on shared standards, instructional philosophy, and mutual respect. Together, they collaborate to deliver consistent, high-level training that emphasizes safety, skill development, and responsible diving practices.

Chris KennedyOWSD InstructorChristopher Kennedy is a highly skilled dive professional whose background blends technical diving expertise with advanced scientific and operational knowledge. He works professionally with NASA, bringing a methodical, data-driven approach to problem-solving, risk management, and performance in extreme environments. Christopher and Michael Robison collaborated to develop the TDI High Altitude Diver Course, expanding training standards for divers operating in challenging altitude conditions. Together, they also co-developed the RO/KEN dive tables, providing practical planning tools grounded in real-world application and precise calculation. Through this work, Christopher continues to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of technical dive education and safe operational practices.

Stephen BohanOWSD InstructorStephen Bohan is a veteran scuba professional and the driving force behind Dirty Dog Divers in Orlando, Florida, bringing over 20 years of PADI-certified dive experience to training, travel, and gear support. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and is a U.S. Marine Corps and Army veteran who has also served his community through nonprofit work and service roles. Stephen’s passion for diving and teaching stems from a deep commitment to sharing safe, memorable underwater experiences with divers of all levels. He and Mike first became friends while pursuing their PADI Instructor credentials together, forging a professional bond rooted in shared values around diver education, safety, and exploration. That friendship has grown into ongoing collaboration, as both continue to support high-quality training and community engagement within the dive world

Tommy WHiteOWSD InstructorTommy White began his scuba diving journey in 1974 with PADI, building a lifelong foundation in training, safety, and hands-on experience. He earned his Divemaster certification in 1999, marking his transition into professional-level diving and diver mentorship. Tommy later crossed over to SSI, where he served as an Instructor through 2006, working with divers through organizations including Scuba Training Center. In 2025, he continued his instructional path by becoming an SDI Instructor with Aquatic Adventures LLC, integrating decades of experience with current training standards. Tommy’s career reflects adaptability, depth of knowledge, and a long-standing commitment to developing safe, confident divers.

Kyle MArtinDive MAster CanidateKyle Martin was first introduced to scuba diving in 2021 and 2022, gaining early exposure to the underwater world. While those initial experiences sparked interest, it wasn’t until 2025—diving alongside his brother, Jared Martin—that Kyle truly fell in love with the sport. Training and diving with friends through Aquatic Adventures LLC helped solidify his passion and commitment to continued growth. Since then, Kyle has focused on developing strong foundational skills, confidence, and situational awareness in the water. He is now actively pursuing the path toward becoming a scuba instructor, driven by a desire to teach, mentor, and share the same enthusiasm for diving that shaped his own journey.

LT. Andrew SomersDive MAster CanidateLt. Andrew Somers began his scuba diving journey in 2008 during recovery from a broken femur sustained in an airborne jump while serving in the U.S. Army. Diving became both a physical and mental outlet, helping him rebuild confidence, discipline, and focus after injury. In addition to scuba, Andrew is actively involved in free diving and spearfishing, developing strong breath-hold skills, situational awareness, and comfort in the water. He also serves as an Army pilot, bringing a methodical, risk-managed approach to everything he does. Andrew is now progressing toward becoming a Divemaster, continuing his transition from diver to leader and mentor in the underwater environment

He is currently a Divemaster candidate and a certified lifeguard, bringing a strong safety-focused mindset to both training and in-water support. He continues to expand his experience while supporting diver education through consistent participation and a focus on professional growth.
